Welcome to the AGO online press room, where accredited members of the media can find content about current and upcoming exhibitions in addition to general information and background about the Gallery, its collection and revenue streams. Each exhibition page features a gallery of high resolution images that may be downloaded for press uses under the guidelines provided.

This portal is password protected.

To login, click the “Exhibitions” tab and enter the username and password provided by the Communications team.

The AGO communications department is happy to assist members of the media to coordinate interviews or photo/television shoots. Journalists who wish to visit the AGO are encouraged to make arrangements ahead of time by contacting the communications department.

Any members of the media who wish to film or take photography inside the AGO must be accompanied by a member of the AGO communications department. All free-standing film and lighting equipment must be properly weighted and all electrical cords taped. Published images of the AGO and its collections must be accompanied by appropriate credit lines. Site visits or pre-filming/photography meetings may be required to assess the physical requirements and restrictions. Filming or photography shoots may also require approval from other Gallery departments and are generally scheduled on weekdays, during regular business hours.

Requests for photography for purposes other than editorial will be directed to the AGO’s Image Rights and Reproductions Department (i.e. commercial use, academic reports, books, etc.). Requests for filming or photography not related to the Gallery or its exhibitions (i.e. commercials, movies, etc.) will be directed to the AGO rentals department, and fees for location services will be provided for consideration.
